Potato wedges are a quick and easy gluten free vegan accompaniment to a wide variety of dishes. Great as a light vegetarian meal with gram flour quiche, hoummus, guacamole and chopped green and root salad.
1.5 kg floury potatoes
2 tbs vegetable oil
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp sea salt
1. Preheat the oven to 200 C
2. Slice each potato lengthways in to six pieces and place in a large bowl
3. Sprinkle the vegetable oil, chilli flakes, cumin powder and sea salt over the potatoes and mix well. Get your hands dirty and make sure the potato wedges are fully coated
4. Spread the potatoes wedges on to flat baking sheet. Make sure they are evenly spaced and not touching. Place in the oven and bake for ~35-40 mins until cooked. Serve.
